Kiya Hudson, PLMHP (She/Her)
Hi, I'm Kiya! My practice focuses on individuals, families, and relational systems, whether they are monogamous or ethically non-monogamous. My work explores all the connections that shape you—the inner voices and feelings you hold, and your relationships with others, your community, and the world around you. By examining both your internal and external systems together, we gain a clear view of what may be contributing to the difficulties or struggles you're facing, allowing us to move toward deeper understanding and healing.
I utilize a combined approach to create profound, lasting change by helping you build healthier relationships with yourself and others. My core therapeutic framework integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Narrative Therapy. To ensure the highest level of care, I also have specialized training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy and EMDR to treat complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I am currently in the process of working towards becoming certified in EMDR to better work with complex and chronic trauma symptoms.
I welcome clients of all identities, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences. My practice is founded on the principles of inclusivity and diversity, creating a safe space for you to be your full, authentic self. I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I tailor our sessions to your unique needs and therapeutic goals. I believe in fostering a collaborative environment where you feel empowered to explore, heal, and thrive. I look forward to joining you on this journey of growth and self-discovery!
