Lauren Fisher, Clinical Intern (She/Her)
Hello, I am grateful that you’re here! I am a Marriage and Family Therapy clinical intern trained in EMDR and passionate about experiential approaches. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems to help you explore and make sense of your emotions, better understand and become more connected with your internal systems, and process trauma in a safe and supportive way. I additionally enjoy working with couples through an attachment-oriented lens to help them rebuild trust, reduce conflict, strengthen their bond, and create safer, more connected systems together.
I bring a warm, genuine, and compassionate presence to therapy, and I believe deeply in the power of connection and authenticity. My style is also collaborative; I believe in meeting you where you are at and walking alongside you as we work toward the goals you set for therapy. I strive to create an inclusive, compassionate space where you can feel fully seen, heard, and safe to be your authentic self. Social justice and inclusivity are important to me, and I am committed to uplifting voices, honoring diverse identities, and creating space for healing even throughout these tumultuous times.
I’m always striving to learn and grow, which is why collaboration, integrity, and flexibility are at the heart of my approach. Change isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to go through it alone, especially not in my office.
I aim to connect with my clients on a human level, meeting them with empathy and warmth. Therapy is a collaborative process of insight and change. As we navigate this together, I aim to always be fully present, attuned to your needs, and committed to your growth every step of the way. I'm here to help guide you towards greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and the life you envision. I’m excited to meet you!
Lauren sees clients on an income-based sliding scale and can see clients in person and online.
