Taylor Courtney, Clinical Intern (She/Her)
Hello, I’m so grateful to have you here! I know therapy can be intimidating and extremely vulnerable, so I aim to create a space where you are met with authenticity, encouragement, and warmth. My goal is to foster a safe and supportive environment for all clients, and ensure they feel deeply valued, seen, and heard as our foundation for growth and healing. There is no blueprint to life, and at times it can seem lonely, hard, and hopeless trip, but you are not alone in your mental health journey and deserve genuine care and compassion.
I am driven by seeing others thrive and hope our collaborative work together allows you to flourish. I am passionate about exploring how early experiences, relationships, values, and beliefs impact development and mold us into the people we are today. I believe that healing arises through a judgment free space and being curious and deeply understanding of each person’s unique story and perspective. I am excited to walk alongside you on your road to growth, healing, self-exploration, and developing self-compassion.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy clinical intern that works from a systemic and trauma-informed lens. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to work with clients to process relational issues and complex traumas. I am trained in EMDR Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), Gottman Level 1 for couples, and mindfulness practices.
Taylor sees clients on an income-based sliding scale and can see clients in person and online.
